Warranty Period & Conditions
SUPER GENERAL CONSUMER ELECTRONICS AND HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Product Eligibility:
- Customers are required to produce original invoice and till receipt as valid proof of purchase indicating product model clearly. Products returned without valid proof of purchase or which proof of purchase has been altered or illegible, shall be outside the cover of warranty.
- In the case of consumer products such as electronics and Household appliances, the use is limited to domestic and personal use.
In the event of breakdown:
- In order to be eligible under this Warranty the customer must report the breakdown or failure within 5 days of the occurrence.
- Repairs must only be carried out by Authorized Service Center personal for relevant products approved by SUPER GENERAL.
- If the breakdown is not covered by the Warranty, the customer will be charged for the cost of the repair.
- The customer should consult manufacturer's instructions to determine if the failure to operate is due to circumstances that may be corrected by following the user operating instructions.
Limitation of liability:
- The Contract only covers equipment which failed solely due to material, workmanship or performance of the product.
- SUPER GENERAL shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to a person or property, direct, consequential or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.
- This Warranty is not an insurance policy.
- This warranty is not a guarantee for uninterrupted or error free functioning of the appliance.
- This Warranty is only valid in UAE.
Warranty Period:
- All Products - 1 year from the date of purchase
- Compressors - 5 year from the date of purchase
Additional Warranty Terms:
- Warranty repair pick up and return is up to 30km from city for all Emirates. For Distance beyond 30km customer will have to transport the repair equipment to the nearest service centre.
- In case of non repairable product the retail value of the replacement will not exceed the purchase price that was actually paid by the customer. Once a warranted product has been replaced, the replaced product Warranty will be valid for the balance period from date of original purchase invoice.
- Small Household appliances and consumer electronics are to be brought by customer to company authorized service centre for repairs.
Exclusions from the Service Warranty:
- Cosmetic damage such as damage to paintwork, product finish, dents or scratches, to the equipment and broken glass items.
- Replacement of any consumable item or accessory. Such as plugs, fuses, batteries, light bulbs, light covers, cables, filters, brushes, hoses, attachments, of a product.
- Normal wear and tear of items not integral to the functioning of the product.
- Damage caused by unauthorized repair, theft, burglary, and accident including earthquake, storm and/or hurricane, abuse, misuse, sand, dust, water, negligence, fire, flood, lightning, malicious damage, impact, corrosion, battery leakage, acts of God, animal or insect infestation or intrusion.
- Damage resulting from power outage, power surges or dips, fluctuating voltage, or improper voltage.
- Cost of removal or reinstallation of the product.
- Reception or transmission problem resulting from external causes.
- Modifications of the product.
- Failure to follow manufacturer's instructions.
- Costs arising from incorrect installation, modification or maintenance.
- Costs if no fault is found in the product.
- Costs arising from being unable to use the Product or from damage which results from the Breakdown of the Product.
- Preparation of cooling system for compressor replacement by flushing and cleaning after 1st year will be charged AED 250/-
- Additional charges will be applicable for removal & installation of AC units installed in locations that are not easily accessible
